Working Conditions

Sanitary centrifugal pump is a high and low liquid level and horizontal conveying, not self-priming pump (self-priming pump is optional for self-priming type).
Surface Treatment Polished contact areas, remaining matte or sandblasted.

Product  Description

C114 series sanitary centrifugal pumps meet the requirements of gentle handling of products. The impeller is housed inside the pump casing and rotates together with the pump shaft, while the impeller blades transmit energy to the fluid in the form of kinetic and compressive energy. The cast open impeller, CNC machined in five axes, guarantees the impeller’s strength and precision, is easy to clean, and is perfectly suited for CIP systems. The pump casing is made of stainless steel plate with one-piece cold extrusion and butt-welding, which has excellent strength and toughness.

Options Description

1.D type single mechanical seal

D External balanced food seal (sanitary)

Seal ring material: SS/C (dynamic ring)

Use of conditions: room temperature pure water

2.DG single mechanical seal

DG external balance and hydrostatic ring seal (sanitary)

Seal ring material: SiC/C (dynamic ring)

Operating conditions: Ambient medium, non-viscous or particle-free

Seal ring material: SiC/SiC (dynamic ring)

Operating conditions:50℃~90℃ or the medium is slightly viscous, containing particles.

3.E type double mechanical seal

E type with water flushing double mechanical seal (sanitary)

Sealing ring material: SS/SiC/C (dynamic ring)

Working condition: above 90℃ or the medium is viscous and contains particles.

4.F type single mechanical seal

Seals for external balance with water flushing (sanitary)

Same construction as Type D, with additional water flushing.

Suitable for special requirements to reduce seal wear.

Dual mechanical seals are used in the following environments Description

1.High viscosity media: high viscosity media, will affect the floating dynamic ring, single seal is easy to leak, and high viscosity fluid in the machine seal at the backflow slower, the cooling effect of the fluid on the machine seal worse, the use of double mechanical seal for external cooling circulating water.

2.High-temperature medium: high temperature seal wear faster, reduce the strength of the material, the seal ring is easy to age, the use of double mechanical seal for external cooling circulating water.

3.Fluid with solid particles: it will affect the floating dynamic ring, seal wear faster, and the fluid containing solid particles in the machine seal at the backflow slower, the cooling effect of the fluid on the machine seal becomes worse, the use of double mechanical seal for external cooling circulating water.

4.System pressure is high (more than 4Bar): external single mechanical seal is easy to leak, the use of double mechanical seal to increase the pressure can reach 6Bar.

5.Cavitation is serious, the impeller axial movement distance becomes bigger, seal wear faster, the use of double mechanical seal, external cooling water cooling, reduce seal wear.

Applications

Pumps are suitable for use in CIP (clean-in-place) installations. This feature enables easy self-cleaning with no dismantling or take-down.
